|Project Creative Direction for new album, “Give Me Gravity”||Year 2015-2016|
The uber-talented music duo of RadandKell met at La Salle University, each playing a key part in the university’s successful music program. Upon graduating in 2012 and 2013, forming a band was the next logical step. After years of touring and smaller music releases, their first full length album was on the horizon. The duo needed a partner they could trust to handle all the pieces of the album that didn’t make beautiful music.
As RadandKell began to release singles, the album’s visual theme was born. We created artwork to accompany the release of both Inspiration and Let it Fade before diving into developing a music video for their single Heavy on the Pedal. From the initial concept to the finished product, we led the creative direction, videography, and accompanying studio sessions to produce a cost-effective video that we felt strongly communicated the message of RadandKell’s music.
Music that creates the beautiful marriage of pop, soul, jazz and reggae is what you’ll enjoy when you follow RadandKell on Spotify (and subscribe to their Youtube Channel). Thousands of people across the greater Philadelphia area and beyond have enjoyed their album and their songwriting prowess and exhilarating stage presence have led the singers to perform with recognizable artists like Monophonics and Rusted Root. Best of luck to RadandKell as they continue along their journey.
